Stop smoking groups with Feel Good Suffolk
Ready to stop smoking, but don’t want to go it alone?
Feel Good Suffolk offers free, friendly group stop smoking sessions across Suffolk to help you quit for good, with expert guidance and peer support every step of the way as well as free medications and tools.
Quitting smoking is one of the most important things you can do for your health — and research shows you’re much more likely to succeed when you have the right support. Our group sessions bring people together who are on the same journey, helping you stay motivated and confident.
What are group stop smoking sessions?
Our group sessions are led by trained Stop Smoking Advisors and provide a supportive, non‑judgemental space where you can:
- Share experiences with others who understand what quitting is like
- Learn practical techniques to manage cravings and tricky situations
- Track your progress and celebrate milestones together
- Build confidence and resilience to remain smoke‑free
Group courses run for six weeks, with regular check‑ins to help you stay on track beyond that
What support will I receive?
When you join a Feel Good Suffolk group, you’ll get access to:
✔ Expert advice from trained Stop Smoking Advisors
✔ Free stop smoking products, including Nicotine Replacement Therapy and vapes
✔ Carbon monoxide monitoring, so you can see real improvements in your health
✔ Tools and strategies to handle cravings, stress and setbacks
✔ Encouragement and accountability from others in the group
Everything is tailored to help you find the approach that works best for you.
Why quit with a group?
People who stay smoke‑free for 28 days are up to five times more likely to quit for good. Group support can make a huge difference by helping you stay motivated and feel less alone.
Stopping smoking can mean:
