Session 2 – Carbohydrates and Gut Health

In this session, Sylvia will introduce you to the different food groups, macro and micronutrients. The session will examine the different carbohydrate forms and how your body processes carbohydrates. Sylvia will also talk about the benefits of fibre.

Before you start the next session, take some time to review the goal you set yourself at the end of the previous session.

  • Did you achieve the goal you set? If no, why could this be?
  • Was the goal specific and achievable or do you need to review and amend the goal?
  • If you did achieve it, well done! You might want to think about making the goal more challenging if you found it too easy.

You will continue to complete this goal over the coming weeks, as well as creating a new goal each week!
