Session 6 – Processed Foods and Food Labels

In this video, Andreia will talk about processed and ultra-processed foods and the impact ultra-processed foods can have on your health.

There are also simple tips for healthy swaps and changes to your diet. The session also aims to provide you with a better understanding of food labels, and how to use nutrition labels to eat a balanced diet.

Before you start the next session, take some time to review the goal you set yourself at the end of the previous session.

  • Did you achieve the goal you set? If no, why could this be?
  • Was the goal specific and achievable or do you need to review and amend the goal?
  • If you did achieve it, well done! You might want to think about making the goal more challenging if you found it too easy.

You will continue to complete this goal over the coming weeks, as well as creating a new goal each week!
